I have to trust the person slapping me because it's only ever happened in an abusive relationship. I mentioned to W the other night, "I wonder how I'd feel you slapped me really hard during sex, not just playing around." Slapping really pushes us to the edge. It's not a cushy body part like one's ass or thighs, or even one's back. Seems like something visceral would happen when you're hit in the moment like that.
